Host a course at your yard
EATASA would like to ensure therapists are properly trained when using hippotherapy. We therefore aim to make training more accessible. We encourage you to consider hosting a course so we can come to your area and share our knowledge. The hosting of a hippotherapy course requires certain specifications. If you feel your yard could host a hippotherapy course, contact us via email. The following are necessary when running a hippotherapy:
- a minimum of 5 well trained therapy horses who can long line, comfortable with toys and sensory objects
- suitable therapy tack, enough for the 5 horses
- Undercover lecture area with projector screen / wall
- Therapy arena
- Parking area for course attendants
